Brief:

The Central School of Speech and Drama required a contemporary look to promote it's annual festival and showcase their timetable of performances.

Solution:

A single striking page with a distinct presence that complemented the festival's other publicity materials. This design was refined in close working with the creative talents at The Central School of Speech and Drama and gave each performance it's own brief 'advert', while keeping a coherent structure for the website itself.

Brief:

Use inspiring images and text to promote Exmouth as a destination and Aslema Guest House as a place to stay. Graphic and text rich, easy navigation essential. Contact form required. Training in how to promote the site.

Solution:

Using my own photography I developed a look emphasising Aslema's location next to the beach, marina and on the Jurassic coast. Working to W3C web design standards, to ensure everyone will view the pages properly, the site is lightweight and fast to load, whilst being image rich. A secure open source email script powers the contact form, reducing the chance of spam.

Leaflets and Business Cards:

Aslema subsequently asked me to redesign their leaflets and business cards, to bring the new brand image through. Maintaining a consistent appearance ensures a strong brand and shows the professionalism of the business.

Brief:

Use existing brand image to create a website that will have a broad appeal to those wanting wedding videos. A gallery of images and a contact form are both essential. Help with promotion and finding a suitable web host for the site. Future development to include streaming-video, when money permits.

Solution:

Using open source code to create a truly robust gallery of pictures, I developed a site which kept navigation simple and intuitive whilst making a striking, clean visual impact. The site has been successful in showing the business's high quality service, creating many leads.

Brief:

To develop a web site enhancing the image of Mortgage Help UK. Promote through the use of reciprocal linking. Visitors should be encouraged to pick up the phone and talk to an advisor. No extra information needed. The page must fill the screen.

Solution:

Taking the lead from the no-nonsense style of Mortgage Help's information leaflets, the design uses limited graphics, relying instead on a strong layout to present key information. An emphasis on the telephone number and preferred working locality of Devon, the site included all information required by the FSA.
